Yet another tire thread....
First of all....Greetings from Houston ya'll:-D I am the proud owner of a "new" '98 SH. The bike is being stored in Tucson until the end of June and I'm dying to ride it. My first choice was the VFR but I think I made the right choice in buying a bike that you don't see too much of. The reviews have been good too.
In terms of tires. Yesterday I bought a package deal on tires being offered by Cycle Gear. They are Dunlop 208ZR's. With tax and shipping, I paid $182.00.
Any comments on the brand and the price I paid? Is there a better source online for tires?

Welcome aboard!
I've never been a fan of Dunlop's street tires. A friend of mine swears by them (the 208ZRs), but I like the Pirelli / Metzeler tires more. The price you paid is decent, although IIRC the 208s are being fazed out for the Qualifiers.
