Write-up on the Carbon Express on motorcycle.com

Part 1 of a write-up I prepared about the long and "dynamic" relationship with my beloved VTR is now online at motorcycle.com. Here is the link to Part 1: https://www.motorcycle.com/readers-r...rm-part-1.html

(Much) more to come

cheers

Nice write-up! I have one criticism though...you could of taken 20 minutes to wash the bird.

I had specifically asked you to keep the "buoy-rd" out of this!

Hey Micky. Just signed in after a very long absence to say nice job! Went on MO today and there was your story. Well written and nice bike. Great reminder of how much this forum has done for each other and the technical expertise in it.

a friend of mine still has my superhawk and still a fun bike. I have a superduke now and its a pretty good ride also.

What a pleasant surprise!!! So nice to hear from you! I have to say your VTR served as an inspiration for the evolution of mine.

So you're on a KTM... lucky man! A 1290 R I assume? Which year? I peruse the ktmsmt site on a regular basis and must say that getting my hands on a 1290 and letting it breathe is a dream of mine (seen some get over 175 rwhp and 104 lb-ft... must be insane!!!!)

stay healthy and safe my friend!

Awesome write up! Haven't read it all yet, but I will. I love seeing these bikes get the attention they deserve.

Thanks to everyone past an present for keeping the fire alive.

Ride safe friends!

It's quite a long read and part 2 is longer yet... 19 years of playing and modding is a lot of ground to cover, lol
