Wrecker recomendations
Hi, I would like to compile a list of known good m/c wreckers. I'll take business names from any of the lower 48 and Canada east to west. I've got a friend with a mangled SV1000 and in 9 months of ebay shopping he has not found anything for his rebuild project.
Can anyone refer their favourite motorcycle scrap yard? They have to carry modern sportbikes and not acres of rusted UJM's from the 70's. I don't care if the crusty old curmudgeon running the place is a 60's throw-back, we just want SV plastics and the like. Cheers DS

Hopefully this helps some....
When I rebuilt my 89 CRB many years ago. I got a motorcylist magazine and started placing calls to the breaker yards that advertise in the back of the magazine. I was able to call the yards and ask for quotes and availability of parts.
I found that almost all of them were out in Arizona, and some yards have lower prices than others.
