I may be preaching to the choir here but it is winter and many of you don't ride much for several months. I've got 2 more carbs on my bench for rebuild, one for a sled and the other for an XL1200. Neither were stored properly or ridden much last year and as a result the owner needs to pay me to make them work. This on e isn't too bad but the pilot was basically plugged solid. In other words, top off your fuel, treat it, and run the bike afterwards so there is treated fuel in the lines, petcock, and bowls. Happy New Year!
Absolutely...
I make most of my bourbon and cigar $$'s doing an ultra sonic and rebuilding carbs in the spring. I do enjoy good bourbon and good cigars, so this is not a trivial amount!
