Who's got the best price for insurance?

I just picked up my Hawk and need insurance to get it registered. What company has the best rates? I have cars insurance with Allstate now but they wanted a fortune for the bike.
IDEAS?

I don't have an answer, but i will tell you what i have.
I live in Washington State, I have Liability, Comp and uninsured motorist. My premiums are about 16 dollars a month based upon an annual plan. I am over 25.
I have State Farm. I also have a completely perfect driving record and no accidents. This is paired with my supra, I think it is 78 a month for my Supra full coverage and my Superhawk.

I have geico on mine and my wife's cars and they talked like they would give me that hook up to add a bike onto the existing policy but that was a major fail. Geico wanted an additional $40 a month.

It varies greatly between states/regions/ages and your record. But where I'm from Geico and Progressive were by far the best rates.

I have liability and PIP. I recently got a quote from GEICO for $100 per year and then called Progressive who quoted me $70 per year.

On a side note, I was playing with the only quoting system and found that there was no price difference when setting the liability between the lowest amounts or the highest amounts...

For many years in the 80's and 90's I had Universal underwriters. Used to get it through my local honda dealer. Never had collision & Comp, but never paid more than $75/year either. Last 7 years or so I've gone progressive and it seems a good deal $75 or so still no Collision or Comp, but decent liability coverages.

I have progressive through USAA on my 1998 superhawk and I have a good record. I pay $27.28 a month for full coverage. When pricing it out I thought for the price difference, it was a steal of a deal to get full coverage. and I'm glad I did...my minor tip over resulted in a $2300 check....and no premium increase. Only my exhaust saved it from being totaled, progressive takes any aftermarket part and adds it to the KBB for the value of the bike.

progressive. I hate their chairman Peter Lewis but no one else can touch their price. He is a Liberal POS.

i pay more for statefarm, but i will tell you it is worth it when you do have an accident. I was rear ended in my 4runner and was dealing with the other persons insurance (nitemare) then turned around and told state farm and they said if i paid the deductible they would handle everything, i got a rental car (free) for the 5 months my car was in the shop, i got my deductible back after the other company settled, as well as an additional 2700 for depreciated value. asked my agent how that happened, and he replied, we sued them. my premiums never went up and i know if there is ever a problem, MY AGENT (known by name) will take care of everything, oh and i have a 2000 bond for non-felony stops/incarceration. pay more get more i guess?
