Who rides what for other bikes?
2010 Ducati Streetfighter...not really an "other" bike because I sold my Superhawk to a friend late last year, can't afford two bikes in my retirement...
I miss the VTR every now and again, more relaxing to ride than the Duc...

I've had a few favorite bikes over the years, my first new "big" bike, a '72 CB450, a '75 TS250, my first track bike, a '89 Hawk 650 w/ a SuperTrapp, a '94 VFR 750 w/ a Staintune, a '95 BMW R100 GSPD-C, my current '04 BMW R1150RT, and the SHs, but the all-time numero uno is the Triumph Daytona 955. I'm on my third one. The sound of that big triple with either the factory carbon race pipe or a D&D high carbon is absolutely intoxicating, the component and build quality are high, and like the Hawk, it's got a lot of grunt.
My Rides
Hey all, FNG here. Just made a 400 mile trip to pick up my 98' Hawk. Beautiful bike, always garage kept, 20k mi, stock except for 2 Bro's slipons, modified tail section with integrated led tail/turn, and flush mount front turn lamps. Lucky the wife only gets jealous if the object of my desire is animate, although to keep the peace I sold one bike to make a place for the Hawk.
Contents of my garage at present:
72' Yamaha R5 (runs, needs full resto)
75' Yamaha RD350 (pods, DG's)
75' Honda CB750F (stock)
76' Yamaha RD400 (project, all there need assy)
98' Honda VTR1000F

I'm new to forum, have been gleaning info, (great tech help here) for about a year. Bikes are: '04 S/H, 1970 Triumph Bonn. restored, 1966 Triumph TT Special (work in progress), '03 Honda 954 (my Son won't give it back).
So I thought I sold my SH which would make me ineligible for this post but the guy I sold it to never rode it after taking it away and never registered it so it is still in my name, sitting w/o a plate in his garage.

If it's got wheels and a motor I'll either ride it or drive it... It's that simple, really... Makes no difference to me what manufacturer, they all make half assed attempts that I need to fix anyways...
I've got a 1972 Yamaha R5 I spent about a year and a half rebuilding. It's a blast to ride - what a difference after riding it to jump on the 'Hawk, feels like a Caddy - nice and smooth.

I don't know which of these two radically different rides I like more. The rowdy Hawk is drop dead gorgeous and the Bear* is in a world of it's own and is just as much fun. I'm happy that they play well together so I don't have to give either one up.

Against all logic, I have a 2002 Harley Deuce which I nicknamed "The Deathtrap". It's a V-Twin thing I guess. Dunno, anyways the old lady likes it and there is something to be said for setting off car alarms as you ride by. I do NOT however own any HD T-Shirts, Jeans, Boots, Hats, License Plates, Stickers, Bed Sheets, Shower Curtains, or any of the other crap that the middle aged wanna-be "bikers" load up on to project their "Me-Too!" image
. Oh, and my Aprilia, which is an SR50R Scooter (I ride the crap out of this thing!) but hey, it's still an Aprilia!!!

I just purchased my 1998 SH 6 days ago. It only had 9,505 miles and is in very good condition.
My other bike is a 2010 BMW R1200RT that does my heavy duty touring.
I wanted something different and the Super Hawk is different!
