Actually, I weight about 185 coming out of the shower. I find the way that my *** sinks into the seat - probably about 1/3rd the depth - to be really comfortable when I sit up and am relaxing, and it holds me pretty well when I'm tipped forward and riding hard. The Corbin I felt was like a freaking piece of cardboard, I slid around all over the damn thing and it just made my *** ache after about an hour. Never did try Sargent, but as happy as I was with stock, why bother?

I used an electric carving knife, sandpaper, and some batting from the fabrics' section at walmart to smooth it all out. I didn't try to reshape the entire seat. If you look closely, you can still see where I dropped in the sargent section and some imperfections (bumps/wrinkles). It was my first test on this bike but I scored a used sargent for cheap and didn't work on version two. FWIW

Will do - Have the foam - just waiting on an air sander to shape it. Hope to have all done in two weeks.

I have an offer for memebers interested in a Corbin gun fighter & Lady seat. I have a small shop in NH and one of my vendors just released a close out catalog and they have a few of these seats left. 4 at last check. If interested you are looking at $250 plus shipping to your location. Let me know a.s.ap. if interested.

Going to be doing this sometime. What's the story on it? Did you take pictures and such? Let us know.

I got a Sargent 4 months ago and I love it. I've got over 18,000 miles on my '05 SH and I can't believe I rode it for 16,000 with the stock seat. There is no comparison.
I ordered it directly from Sargent with Medium gray piping and it matches great. Looks as if it should have come from Honda that way. I got it in 7 working days.

Love my Corbin after break in period, I think you will be safe with either one since there are good reviews on both.
