hey guys, just joined and figured id say whats up. yesterday i picked up my first sport bike, a 98 vtr1000f. it broke my heart but i traded my baby, a 1986 cr500 and 300 bucks for it and i couldnt be happier. i LOVE this bike. iv ridden a few 1000cc 4 bangers and they are fun and what not but the torque and sound of a v-twin is just great. my friend is an r1 rider and was very pleased with the power of the super hawk. anyways, time to go surf the forum and ask some questions haha

Welcome bro, both r really sweet bikes, I also have a kx500 2stroke so I understand ur loss, lol. Your SH looks identical to my '02 hawk
