Now Then Fellas England Calling
Hi to all my US/Canadian friends I thought I would pop in to see you all.
My name is Mick and I currently reside in a place called Middlesbrough North East England.
its nice to see so many people with the V Twin interest and having owned my Storm for 2 years I understand why.
Look forward to talking and swapping stories with a few of you guys

Hey Mick. Welcome aboard to our Brit friendly VTR forum. We've been separate countries for 234 years but have a lot more in common than otherwise.
Any real Englishman can come here and feel comfortable (most places anyhow) in short order. You'd have to reacquaint yourself with the ENGLISH system of weights and measures.
You'd need to learn to ride on the proper side of the road. Do those things and you're home free!

Hey Mick good to have you on board the good ship VTR. Always liked the name Firestorm better than Superhawk, marketing gurus what the hell do they know, although i like referrring to my bike as the superchicken! My names Mike and i live right in the middle of the country in the state of Nebraska. Here the winters are very cold, summers steamy hot and the landscape covered in corn and soybeans. Boring i know. At least there is a tornado or two for excitement. Cheers.

Thanks for the welcome. I have travelled to your country on 2 occasions and had a great time with a warm welcome. I have also used hire cars whilst in Texas and i think its easier riding a bike what ever side of the road we are on
Also cant stand the Euro bollocks we have adapted in the UK and still prefer Gallons to Litres and Mph to Kph

Hey Mick, welcome from the only other Brit on the forum! LOL. I'm originally from Brighouse in West Yorkshire but now live north of Toronto...since 2002.
Great roads around the Borough up where you live - and kudos on a great looking VTR!

Not hardly! Wicky, Becky and other Englishmen (and women) are here regularly. Forde and others are here from the six northern counties and deserve some love, at least from their fellow UK citizens!

Welcome, I was in England and Wales back in '94 with my wife. Her dad was a Canadian who was born in Liverpool. If we get back there again, we want to visit the country north of London. We loved it over there, very friendly people, and bikes everywhere in London.
My VTR is being resurrected after getting rear ended. I wouldn't give it up for anything.
