Going to look at this tomorrow what do you guys think does it look ok?
It has 19k and no service history but first thing id be doing would be full service and replace the CCTs so if its running ok when i see it would i need to worry?
Dunno if the money he;s looking is right any opinons?

mmmm neat but a tad overpriced for a pre2001 storm
If your mind is set haggle for lot less. Poke around the head bearing cap area as a bit seems left orf leaving a big hole. Plus check it isn't a km import - check for old original unfinned R/R. Life left in consumables, color of clutch & brake fluid - If you want to pay that price from a dealer I'd expect them to give it a FULL service it, replace CCTs & R/R and give at least 3 months warranty.
Recent bargains from UK storm site that will help in putting the OTT trade price into perspective

PS it doesn't seem to be truly a 2002 F1 storm but a late registered FV from 97

tap in the registration no. & viola

well i went to see it today and bought it
its actually very clean, a lot better than it looked in the pics.
i gave 2k for it, fyi bikes cost a good bit more here in n.i than they do on the mainland as we have much smaller market and choice. although that red one for 2k is insane lol he must have spent some cash doing it up but tbh i wouldnt buy a bike like that cos theres nothing left to do, i prefer to start with a blank canvas and make it my own
the cheapest 98 i have seen over here is 1450, usually you pay 1500-1700 or 1800 for a 98 or 99, so for a clean 2002 i think 2k is great ive been watching for a couple months and this is the only post 99 model ive even seen advertised here i dunno maybe they didnt sell them here after that haha
and you must be right about it being a late registered early model i filled it earlier and it only took 12 litres the later ones are meant to have 19 litre tanks, but i dont care im never far from a petrol station anyway lol
Anyway, its clean and it runs absolutely perfect which really sold me so i think i did well, im stoked with it anyway its some bike, just got back from riding it 50 miles home and it was awesome
