What do you think about these Brake Clutch Levers?

Hi,

what do you think about these brake and clutch levers from China?

Brake Clutch Levers Honda VFR 750 800 VTR1000F Firestorm CBF1000 Black | eBay

First I thought that this is chinese crap. But I was curious what I would get for € 26.50 incl. shipping from China. So I order a pair of brake and clutch levers from the eBay store. After two weeks the levers arrive. No problems with the German customs. Under € 30 you don't have to pay customs.

The brake and clutch levers looks very good. They fit very well and the material (6061 T6 Billet Aluminum) is state of the art.

The style of the levers is similar to italian designed Pazzo brake and clutch levers.

Some people of an european KTM forum test the levers intensive in their materials testing company. Surprise surprise...the chinese levers beats the original levers from KTM and Honda in almost all categories. This was not what we have expected.

So I use this brake and clutch lever for half a year on my VTR and I'm very satisfied with this product.

At first I thought it's better to use european or american Products. But I suspect that the motorcycle parts dealer in the USA and Europe purchase the brake and clutch levers in EXACTLY the same factory in China and resell them under their own logo for a bunch of money more. In Germany one pair of this Pazzo style brake and clutch levers cost about 220 € (296 US $).

My 2¢

Thanks Captain was just looking for a new set of levers myself without spending a small fortune. Thanks to this I'll probably end up getting a pair of these levers.

I bought a set of levers on Ebay from a seller called The 2 Wheels. The levers came from China. I asked them to send a clutch lever for an '01 Superhawk and a brake lever for an '09 CBR600RR. Both levers arrived in about 18 days and were correct as ordered. I got black with red adjusters. Other than a little slop in the adjuster pivot they are great. I don't know if high end levers have a little slop or not.

As it is crappy weather in the Pacific NW, I have only ridden with them a couple times. So far I like them. I got the short version.

$30 levers

I've had them for while now and they look, feel and work expensive but they're cheap. And a great value.
