I'm in...
Andy, just rolled over 40
Galt (cowtown), CA
Bought the S'Hawk about 3yrs ago to commute and replace my '92 300Z 2+2, as my "commute missile". It is literally my first bike, had a tough time getting it home the first day, and passed the CA DMV test just two weeks later by practice and pure obstinance. I ride the NorCal foothills for fun and even checked out a track day.
I work as an A&P, aircraft technician, on literally everything from a full restoration on a Piper Cub, to being a dedicated Inspector for United Airlines in a 747/777 overhaul facility. Specializing in corporate jets and currently working a military reconnaissance mod project on RC-12's, and pulling down some private contract work on private heavy jets.
Additional hobbies, include guns, camping, hunting, and above all my immediate family, two beautiful girls and wife of nearly 20yrs... who wouldn't get on the S'Hawk at gunpoint... my daughters love it though.

I'm not sure I even introduced myself to the forum when I joined so, what the heck..
1. Matt S. / 29
2. 20 mi due North of Wash., DC, more or less
3. Daily commuter (except all these days in the mid and upper 90's; I'm not into sweating on the way to work), but also to tear up the back roads or take the occasional trip (hit up Deal's Gap finally this year)
4. Play on a few recreational soccer teams a couple nights a week; jam and occasionally record on guitar, bass, drums in my basement; "spin" trance music (CD/mp3 DJ for my own pleasure) and occasionally record a mix; work on/improve the house I bought last year; try to pass the damn CPA exam; when all else fails, chill out like it's my job.

I don't think I ever introduced myself either... so here it goes...
1. Adam B. / 26
2. Worcester, MA
3. Daily commuter (no rain on the way in, but rain on the way home doesn't bother me). I ride around when I have open free time. Going to take a trip to NY soon on it. I enjoy the unplanned trip on roads I don't know without a map.
4. Research power electronics engineer (<- pofessional electronics arsonist really... i blow stuff up). I'll try to list the hobbies in a short list;
currently into: mountain/road biking, hiking, running (mostly for exercise), motorcycle/car repair/driving/riding, sailboat repair/sailing, general tinkering (welding, fiberglass, wood working), photography, and vegetable gardens (ok, really it's the eating part that I enjoy of gardens).
want to get into: kitesurfing (for the past 8 years... dang knee), pilot license (~300$ for ground school this fall!), windsurfing, RC planes, hang gliding, build a custom electric sport bike for commuting, car racing (darned thiefs) and more hard cider. The U.S. needs a lot more hard cider.
