Weekend trip through the Canadian Rockies (pics)
So the wife went out of town and I was supposed to work but got a call and was told I wasn't needed, so what to do. The weather was great so I decided to throw the tent on the back of the hawk and head to Jasper, AB for the night, about 250 miles each way. These pics were taken on Highway 93 from Banff to Jasper.

I recognize the scenery!
What a great highway for riding! It's got to be about the most scenic route on this planet.
I take the trip at least once per riding season.
A few weeks ago when I was there, I took a picture of that mountain shown in your 3rd picture of your 2nd set:

Well I think it was you who inspired me to head to Jasper, after seeing your thread I realized it had been 6 years since I had been on the highway on a motorcycle and once I found out I didn't have to work and the weather looked clear my destination was set.
