VTR magazine articles
I've shared this file throughout the years with many a member. It's a compilation of all magazine articles on the SuperHawk. Figured I'd start this thread for any newbs that are interested:

Hey mate,
Thanks for all the info. For me it is interesting to read as I have recently restored my brothers 98 TLS and ridden it many times.
Obviously because of this there are always going to be comparisons with my VTR that has been highly modded.
I find the VTR much more comfortable than the Suzuki and even though I have dispensed with the rotary damper on the Suzuki and fitted an R1 shock I still think my Honda with modded forks and refurbed standard shock handles better all round.
I could be biased but I think the Honda is a better all round ride but the comparison is probably not fair because of all the mods that my VTR has.
Thanks again, now I don't have to search high and low for articles on the VTR!

Glad you're all getting to read these files! Over 2150 DL's since 6-30!
What recently got me digging in them was a discussion on a Firestorm FB group about engineered chassis flex. I commented on how much improvement my swinger brace caused and I was met with disbelief. Gentleman said he raced the VTR for some time and never felt the rear flex. And also commented on the engineered part as only being talked about by Superhawkers...

Interesting about the engineered flex working with the specifically designated tires (similar to "tyres" for the perpetually incorrect amongst us)...
so. what are future people supposed to do about tire selection? Throw some on and see what sticks?
also, what oil should I use, and can I spray WD-40 on my hot dogs to keep them from sticking to the grill?

Previous owner, cool guy, hooked me up with non-virtual Dunlop Roadsmarts, which is what I would have chosen. For virtual S & Gs, I prefer Asseto Corsa these days.
but on topic: I enjoyed a trip back to my college days and reading all those articles, Thanks Again!
