Can anyone in upstate NY (ADK's) recommend some good twisty roads? We're planning a trip from Burlington, over the the lake and from Plattsburgh to lake Ontario.

3 to 26 to 14 loook real nice on google maps. Any input?

Sorry, I've not been that far north much. I can point you in the right direction for roads between exits 15 and 26 on Interstate 87 if you want.

There are tons of good roads up there. I'd spend a few days around Saranac Lake, and through the tons of lakes there. I remember the roads around Lake Placid and Whiteface MTN being good, but it's been years.

Used to canoe extensively all over in the ADK's. You could go for days with small portages.
