Turn signals

Just wondering.. I was down at the local motorcycle shop... And one of the new street bikes has built in turn signals of the front of the side mirrors... Has anyone seen something like that for a S Hawk??

There was a groupbuy for these on a different forum awhile back. I believe some of those buyers are on SHF.

Wow, $169 is a bit high.

For those of you who have a set, how do you like them?

I'll let you know if I ever get them on the bike - lots of parts and no time and no garage. U gotta luv city living. They are made well in my opinion.

Re: Turn signals

I have them, and they do not fit the VTR well in my opinion. When bolted on they do not sit at the right angle. They point up in the air a lot. If you have a look at the picture on the website you will see what I mean.

I am reworking the mounts so that they sit at a better angle, but it is a lot of work to get it done so that it looks really good. I was not happy to just stick an angled spacer under them as that will look bodgy in my opinion.

The rubber boot is ok I guess but not quite as neat as the Honda one. And the wires for the indicator come out of the stalk and run down the outside of the mount, between the mount and the rubber boot to go through your fairing.

I am fixing all this on my units before I fit them, but it is a lot of work. I am pretty picky though, and some people may not care about these things.

I won't mind if you send them my way for me to test them out.
