Titanium alternator bungs
EDIT: Sorry guys. I got a little ahead of the horse on this one. I got an email from Mark Hills this morning explaining a few things. He's a great guy, so it's nothing bad or anything.
I am late for work this morning, so I promise that I will explain later this evening to those that were interested.

Absolutely I'll take one or, maybe, two sets unless they're stupid expensive. I'd seen that thread before but didn't know he was still actively producing these.

He told me he is making another run of them at the end of this week or if he doesn't have time, then next week. It seems like his job keeps him pretty busy and just does these little side projects when he has free time at his work.

I'm still trying to figure out what farts, douches and boobies had to do with your reason for editing your post.... because yes, I do read those...must have been a crazy night or something!

Sorry guys. I had good intentions.
I found that Mark was still producing these really cool Ti bits and asked him to make me a couple sets. In between emails, I thought he would be happy with me drumming up more business for him. Turns out, that's not the case. He just does not have the time to do so.
If anyone wants his contact information, I can provide it for you in a PM or you can easily find his info with a internet search. Although remember, chances are his work keeps him to busy for these side jobs.
So, in conclusion, Mark is a really good guy and he understood what I was trying to do, but just doesn't have the time to fill a bunch of orders.

If he had the time, would you know what his pricing was ? The reason I ask is if I could get them produced, I just want to see if it would be worth the time and effort to check on my end.
I know titanium is quite expensive, so, they are probably not that cheap.

Doesn't necessarily need to be Ti - He also made a batch out of stainless steel which are still a massive improvement over the stock soft cheese one.
When you get some try using it as a pattern for producing them from whatever suits you over in the US.

I know Mark Hills, he very kindly provided me with carb choke ferules and he seems always very busy and I'd expect with the racing season starting even more so now.
But what the heck are you guys talking about? I did a search and only found this thread.

I wanted to keep the same name across the boards. The UK guys call them bungs, we would call them caps on the alternator cover. The two caps that use a allen key to remove them. The ones that if not cared for properly, seize in place and you end up making Swiss cheese out of them trying to remove 'em, or so I've seen and heard.

We might also want to consider that Honda made them softer so they would strip out before the cover did?
