Tires
My last couple of sets of tires have been Metzeler Sportec M1s. I've always been very happy with their performance. Nice, quick, smooth turn in. Lots of grip. Treadwear does stink, though. I only got a hair over 3000 on the last set before they were shagged.
I hear the new Michelin Pilot Power tires are supposed to be amazing. Anyone running those yet?
Anyone else have any other recommendations for someone who does primarily curvy mountain roads with a few track days thrown in each year?

Re: Tires
I run Dunlop 208 GP "A"'s for the track days, and the pilots on the street.
The michinlin's worked okay for a couple of track days, but they just don't thave the grip the GP-A's. The GP-A's wear fast for "DOT" tires. I could only get 12 track days out of them. The Pilots last much longer, I got more than 6000 out of my last set.

Re: Tires
The last two sets have been Avon Azaros. Really good grip, decent mileage 4000+/-, and a swishy tread pattern!
I think the next set will be the Azaro sport touring models, I don't really need the grip of the super sports and the increased mileage would be excellent.
