This forum and it's members have been a huge help to me. Thank you.
Last week I was coming out of a Golden Coral where I had lunch. A fellow was looking at my bike and offered to buy it in cash. Remember, this was the bike I recently slide down the highway on, so it was less than perfect. I was planning on repairing everything and was going to order parts online and send money for a tank mod to a member here.
Well, I took the offer. It was too good to pass up.
I replaced my Hawk yesterday with a ZX-11 and had money to spare for a Mortgage payment.
The ZX-11 is a great bike, it really is... but the CHARACTER of the Superhawk's V-twin and lower RPM cruising is already missed.
I think when my book sales pick up with my 3rd book, I may have to get another Superhawk.
But can't decide if it should be RED or YELLOW!
