Tennessee's best kept secret
Tennessee's best kept secret
I made another video this week of our best kept little secret. It's NOT deals gap but something about 15 miles from my house.

I made it on tuesday around 4 in the afternoon. The bike traffic hasn't been too bad but since tailofthedragon.com publicized it traffic has really picked up. If you go straight from the point where I turned around there's a good amount of houses in that area but the road is fantastic.
Nice video... where is the camera mounted... looks low, like maybe front wheel or fender, but then it doesnt bounce alot so it suggests it is mounted to the upper fairing, but that seems too high for the view the Cam gives...
it sure is. It's only one side of the road. Usually I continue on straight and hit the other mountain about 25miles away then head back to the house. The only problem is that it does have it spots with gravel in it so you really have to pay attention when riding this area. There are also other distractions such as dogs and driveways.
Yeah, that's the road. There was a house with one dog sunning on the driveway and another right on the road. We flew past and the dog didn't even flinch. There's a great place to get ice cream, always a bonus.
TN has tons of great roads; several that in my opinion beat the gap. The gap is far too crowded with far too much attention. This looks like a good one to me. I'll have to give it a go! Good video, thanks for posting it up!
Has anyone found a microphone that captures how good the VTR sounds with out distoring it? Mine sucks!!
