Thats why I left my Hawk @ hotel > Locked to an R1 & under overhang.

Took taxi to track - Hawk was so fine

R/T to Indy = 1530 miles ran like a champ

I seen a few others that way in the parking lots. Glad mine was strapped down in the truck.

Are Ducati side stands, as a rule, too long?

It seems like 1098S tri-colors took the worst damaged and i learn somethings today-not to park together with someone who have the cover on their bike.

pics from Sat...

I was there for Sat and Sun- Sat was pretty nice although a bit hot in the afternoon... Sunday the remnants of huricane Ike blew in and the rain and wind was pretty crazy. I got a good look at all the Ducs there. Never owned one but a lot of respect for them. I have 2 SuperHawks though, a yellow 2000 and a titanium 2005. If it wasn't for Ducati and the 996, we probably wouldn't have the SuperHawk IMO
