That's the good thing about the Hawk you can lean towards the sport side or the tour side and still be happy with it.

I agree. I sold the RR and found myself desperate for another bike. I hate not having one siting in the garage ready to go. I thought the speed triple was for me. I test rode it and came away unimpressed. I got a used 98' VTR for $3800 and never looked back. HOWEVER, the one thing the 1098 does for me is set off a chemical in my tiny brain,- LUST. I simply dont care that it cost $4,000 more than the bland Jap Superbikes. $2,000 more a year in the dealers' garage for service, WHO CARES??!!? I must have one. Stupid LUST, ruining my bank account.

It's posted in the link from earlier. That's sexy!!!
Yeah, I have to agree...

There may be some degree of truth to that. And I need to replace the right bar end (fell off ) so my right hand gets a bit numb. I will say this about the VTR: my legs and *** never hurt on it. Just numbness in my hands. I try everything to get it to stop.

The SV killed my legs and my hands.

I just compare it to my buddies YZF600R. That some 'bitch is all day comfortable. Like riding a lazy boy.

I've never sat on a duc, but they are just so tiny. I sat on a GSXR600 and I felt like I was riding on top of the gas tank.
