STICKERS OR NOT

I AM NOT QUITE SURE IF I WANT TO PUT BACK ON THE "SUPER HAWK 996" STICKERS OR NOT. SO I THOUGHT I WOULD SEE HOW MANY OF THE FELLOW FORUM MEMBERS HAVE THIERS ON OR NOT. ANY FEEDBACK WOULD BE GREAT.

I took 'em off and i'm leaving them off. If anything I'd get the Fire Storm decals... but that's just me. Fashion *****? Guilty as charged. But whatever... Check out the tapeworks stuff too! You might like the look. tapeworks.com.

I like the Superhawk 996 stickers personally. Might get a different color if I repaint, but I think they'll stay.

Just took mine off and painted my formerly red fairings black. Flirting with graphics right now. Tapeworks Honda graphics are suspended right now til they renew the contract with Honda.
bikeskinz.com has graphics too but nothing for the Hawks.

I personally like the stickers on.... bikes without them have that "I wrecked my bike and I just repainted it" look.

Easy there Ohio...it wasn't my fault. I used hand signals and turn signals and the Thundercrap still T-boned me. Spray paint seemed like a good idea since I got the bike for only $1100 (bought it back from insurance company).

I'm still undecided.... I really like the look of them off, but i haven't taken mine off yet, because i kinda like them... But I'm thinking I'm gonna take them off though, just so people don't know what it is... if the Honda wasn't under the clear, i would remove all decals, to really confuse people

I took mine off, but then thought it was too plain.
I tipped my bike over and scratcehd the fairing. When I repainted I put some Tapeworks stickers back on, without the fake color outline of the stock stickers. I wet-sanded the base color with 800 grit, put the stickers on and cleared over.

I was glad I did. I liked the look. My wife accused me of buying a new bike!

I like em on. My first thought when I see them off is that the bike's been dropped and/or repainted...plus I just like the graphic I guess. Just my 2 cents...

I think I will be taking mine off when it gets warm out. I first saw them off when I was looking at buying Inderocker's bike (before he took it off the market). I like that look alot. I will see how mine looks without them (I have a blue 03) and if I don't like it, I think I'll get a set of Firestorm stickers.

I took them off, and replaced them with the Euro/Canadian Firestorm sticker set which I ordered from a Toronto Honda dealer while on vacation. I like the VTR logo much better that the 'superhawk' one, plus you get the little 'V2' sticker for the tail section. The tank will need a respray to go over the 'Firestorm' stickers though (which I'm too lazy to have applied yet). I thought the Superhawk stickers were too cheap-looking.

Took mine off. Think the "Super Hawk"!!!! logo is kinda ghey... Love the way it looks w/out any ID - I'm constantly getting the "nice bike- what is that???" question from the gapers. Plus, IMO, no decals just looks super clean and tight, no matter what the bike...

I have a black 99 I bought last summer, that the previous owner dropped in his garage. So I am in the process of having the tank repainted and Im not having the honda wings put back on and Im going to take all the other stickers off. Hopefully it ends up looking cool

I like the stickers but not all of them. If I had the opportunity to repaint I would loose the "996" part of the decal and eliminate the "Honda" below the wing. I would move both decals down to be more centered. Anybody that knows the wing knows it's Honda. Anybody that can hear the beast running doesn't need to know how big it is. Just my o2

No stickers, but I might experiment with some graphics.
