Nice find. Those look like the real deal and since they are UNOBTAINABLE I'd buy them in a heartbeat for $575! Match them with a set of JE high compression pistons and you have a little torque monster that will pull as hard above 6K rpms as it does from 4-5k rpms all the way to redline...ask me how I know

That actually is reasonable.. Moriwaki parts for the VTR are like finding a perfect 1964 mustang in a barn with 500 miles on it.

uchi, it has been done, but the hard weld / regrind process on used cams can't be done any cheaper. Please see attached PDF file from Web Camshafts.

there is a regrind process where material from the back side of each lobe is removed, then you have to use a thicker valve shim to compensate for the larger space. Would not get a change in duration or degrees but you get a larger valve lift.

If this is installed without any other upgrades, will it still make a significant difference? Also what does it do for fuel economy?

To get the most out of any engine mod all the other supporting items need to be taken care of. Porting the heads. Velocity stacks. Jetting. Exhaust. High comp pistons.

I see. If I was to put a cam like this in my bike before adding the other mods, would my bike run well until I got the rest of the engine done? Its rare that I would have the money to haul the whole engine over at once.
