After 11 years I sold my superhawk. I think it was the perfect bike after the mods - but with so much into it, I couldn't really tackle many new projects. I want to just say thanks to all the forum experts and willing advisors over the very long term of ownership: I learned a ton about the bike, about engines, tuning, building etc and wouldn't have tackled half the stuff without your expertise. And thanks to all those forum organizers who first resurrected this from the old old forum and have since kept this operating. Of sites I visit its unique in its level of expert knowledge, friendly discourse and general lack of crap that litters up so many other sites.
I don't have any new projects in the works right now, but with the SH gone now at least I'm freed up when something comes along. I'm back into bicycling and trying to devote more time to that and still have 2 other bikes. I'll continue to read along I'm sure, and I still have some odds and ends on shelves to get rid of. My friend that bought the bike joined the forum and I'm sure will add to it also.
