I plan on using those next also. I've heard good things about them on here and the price seems great. No first hand experience though, sorry, I'll shut up now.

I've had 2 rears...the 005 models IIRC. My friend has a different model rear on his 929 and it has lasted pretty well and it hasn't let him down. He broke it in at Deal's Gap and has no chicken strips.

I've got an 005(intermediate compound) front and an 009 Raven (hard compound) on my '99 ZRX1100 and a pair of 009's on my '02 FZ-1. I have zero complaints regarding these sport touring tires. They display no hinky handling traits. They mounted easily on my NoMar Pro tire changer and took minimal weight to balance. RideNow used to have the best prices on these tires but they've jumped about 50% on their site. IronPony now has the best prices- as a matter of fact I'm getting two more sets of 009 Ravens delivered today for $59.99 per front 120/70ZR17 and $89.99 for each 180/55ZR17 rear. I can't comment on the longevity of their sport touring line up but if they last as long as Avon AV45/46, Metzler Z6, Pirelli Diablo Strada, etc I'll be money ahead.
