SEAL MATE really works!

So I had a leaking fork seal. Mike suggested a product that you insert into the seal and rotate around to remove any dirt that may have enetered the seal creating a leak. I looked it up online, reviewed the video, purchased one for $4.99 and it worked perfectly. I thought I had a ton of work to do to replace the seals. It's worth a try if you don't have pitting and your seal starts to leak!

if you have some old school negatives (from a camera) around, that will work just as well and is free!

Yeah, he mentioned 35 mm film but I didn't have either of those.

Glad it worked out for you. Now you just need to think about changing out the fluid one of these days.

Bar's Leaks Transmission Stop Leak

Back in the day, (meaning young broke and stupid) I have fixed leaky forkseals with Redex. Basically pour a teaspoon of the gunk into the top of the forks tubes, go ride and leak is fixed. Swells up the seals

Now I just replace the damn things.

Mike, someday I want to either change out the springs, valves, (do the stearing stem bearings at the same time) and fluid, or....change the whole damn front end as you have done!

Feeling it

I've also used a .003" Feeler gauge to accomplish the same thing.
