is it related to "reputation" in some way?

 

Hell then it should be a negative ( -) number.

 

Just a WAG on my part, but i think it's somehow related to how many replies and or views your threads average.

 

Well right next to the round dot under your avatar which goes green when you are on line is a thing that looks like a set of scales.

If you see a post that you like or dislike you can click it and it lets you add or take away "rep" points from whoever it is that made to post.

I the big picture it really doesn't mean a whole lot and it's nothing to worry about.
