Quick pair question so i can ride
Just performed pair removal and want to make sure I am supposed to cap every vent line connecting to the bottom of the air box. Also, can I cap where the front breather hose connects to the front of the engine at what I believe is the cylinder head cover? There is air coming out of that hose and also maybe a little oil or lubricant of some sort. Thanks
The short answer is, that part I think you are referring to the PAIR reed valve. It allows unburnt fuel to be burnt off in the exhaust, (I'm sure someone will correct me if I am wrong). You need to remove that little housing with a hose on it, gently pull the little reed valve out, remove the little screw and turn the assembly over so the metal tab holds the reed closed. Plug the hose connection of the housing and reinstall, or you can order the block off plates, https://www.superhawkforum.com/forum...es-sale-18515/
