Pyramid
Has anyone in the US ordered parts directly from Pyramid? Do they automatically convert our US dollar to their UK Euro upon ordering? Or do we have to go through a middle man?

Even tough im not from the US i guess i can answer your question.
The only method of payment Pyramid offers is by Credit Card, your CC Company will convert the amount automatically from USD to Britsh Pound. No middleman necessary.
In case you want see how much it is, use this link: http://www.oanda.com/convert/classic

I ordered a pyramid lower from a UK company called jesterstrickbits and it was at my door in Canada in 5 or 6 days. They accept paypal which will convert for you just like a credit card. The lower was well packaged and shipping was fast! I would not hestitate to order anything from Nick over there.

Whereabouts in Spain? I lived in Granada for a while a couple years back.
I was under the impression that the credit card companies charged you a fee for such conversions....or am i just making that up?

I live between Malaga and Marbella at the Costa del Sol, not too far from Granada. Actually my girlfriend is born in Granada, her family then moved to Fuengirola a few years ago.
I moved from Germany to Spain last year.
And yes, the banks still charge a small amount whenever you withdraw money from a ATM, except you use the ATM from your banks network.
Its the system in Spain, all the companies only want your best - your money...they rip you up whenever you give them the chance.
@CentralCoaster
The CC companies, at least the ones here in Europe, charge a certain percentage of the amount (typically between 1% and 3%) whenever you pay for something in a foreign currency. Look at your monthly CC statement and you see they do...its kinda hidden sometimes because of their terminology you might not realize it....
