Ping Hawkrider: Plastic repair from EmpireGP

I remodeled my rc51 and am thinking over this winter to restore it to good condition again and EmpireGP is the only company I can think of that does it (though just started looking). How much did you pay and how well of a job did they do?

For $600 they repaired the tank, both rashed side fairings, and repainted it all. I didn't pay delivery since I drove out to drop it off and his son lives in my area.

Yeah, it's not quite show/stock quality but it is well worth the price for what I paid. No orange peel, no runs, and only two pieces of dirt in the paint on the whole bike. There is one spot where I can see where two pieces of masking tape intersected, but only I know it's there. If you're doing just one color you should be okay. Make sure they place the Honda wing on the tank properly. Mine's a bit low.

Ask the guys that were at the SHOG Rally. They can attest to the quality.

gotcha, the bike is rashed good so it may be cheaper and easier to buy used oem stuff (pending on where I want to go with the bike from here) instead and have this stuff repaired and painted a solid color

I was real pleased with the price and the shipping of my new fairings for my rebuild this spring. Shipping for the whole set was $25 and the plastics were about $450
