Part Or Sell?

So, I've got some other priorities going on right now and have decided to sell the hawk. The bike has been a bit abused at the track, but is not really in too bad of shape. I was thinking of asking about 2300 for it. Hope to get 2k. Got to thinking though, would I make out better if I parted it out? What do you guys think?

8541Hawk will become famous soon enough
Would need a list of the non-stock bits you would have to sell off first.

It's a tough call, I'm going through something similar myself.. Not sure whether to part mine out or try to fix it again.

For you it comes down to a couple things. How fast you need the money, and what aftermarket parts you have that could bring high dollars sold separately.

If you have some expensive parts you might get a lot more than selling it whole, but it might take a few months to get things sold off and accumulate the income.

Generally, mostly stock. I've got a steering damper, but going to sell that separately anyway. I've got Dr Honda velocity stacks, and the forks were re-valved. Other than that, just basic.

yeah, I was thinking that too and the cash in hand is what I'm looking to get at. I just thought I'd throw the idea out here and see what folks thought.
