paint help

hey guys, i apinted my tail fender and windscreen black from the inside. the paints soft still, its dry to the touch and har enough that it should be ok but ive managed to nick it in a couple spots. i did it in my garage, tried to keep a heater on it and even now the heaters on withthe doors closed trying to get the temps up to help it cure. how long till its cured and how long till i can plop my big *** on it and not worry too much about scratching it?

Depends entirely on the ambient temperature and the type of paint used. Usually if you use Krylon or similar you can expect to have fully cured in about 12 hours, however the time increases as the temperature drops.

Red
would have dried faster no doubt.

Damn shoulda got krylon. I used some dupont stuff. And yeah red would have dried faster than the black I used. Lol. Yellow would have been dry 15 minutes after I sprayed it. Lol

I would give it at least 24 hours if semi-warm if you used the Dupont.
