Hey guys, just back from the track, what a blast, it's more fun everytime I go! My buddy told me I should've gotten the crashing out of the way when we first started because now it's gonna REALLY hurt if/when I do. My 208gpa's did't get here in time so I abused the Qualifiers for 2 more days for a total of 4. They were slipping a little bit powering out of turn 10 which is an increasing radius turn but after a while I was having a little fun sliding it out. It would slide and then hook so it was pretty nice, I knew they were giving a bit so I didn't get to push as hard as I wanted to but it made me smoother. My fastest laps were when I decided to slow down and be smoother so the cliche is true! All and all I'm really impressed with the Qualifiers as the left side was down to pretty much a slick and it still held well. I put down a 1:32.49 which isn't stellar but not slow either, the track record was put down by Pascal Picotte a couple of months ago at 1:14.6 so pascal I'm not. There were 3 or 4 guys that could pass me and they were on R6's with white, (expert) plates on so not bad for 1st time in int. They really gave me something to try and chase and I kept them in sight but couldn't catch them and then I'd get tired trying. TOO MUCH FUN!!!!!

Your picture makes me want to take my Superhawk back to the track. I think she misses passing all the newer, "faster" bikes.

Yep! I followed a race-group guy around (he was taking it kinda easy in my group) and when we were done, he looked at my bike and said, "You were able to keep up on THAT thing...?!?"

Not much shade on the track though.....DAMN it was HOT out there! Besides I would rather there be no trees anywhere near the track.
