hey all. I used to check this site daily in hopes of finding new and exciting things to do with my 98 hawk. thank you all for the past couple years in helping maitain and make my hawk look sick. kudos to whomever it was that told me what kind of pipes to buy a couple years ago, and painting my lower chin red to match the 98 hawk color was genious. Unfortunately now a divorce has forced me to get rid of my hawk (the only bike I ever truly loved and cried like a baby when I watched it go away). but life keeps going and I will have another one someday. I also had to move recently and found the original pipes to my bike during the move. there in perfect condition and I would be willing to sell them. seeing as how I dont have a bike anymore. Any offers out there?

Thanks, Kyle! I used to drive with my Jeep club over to Stevens Point for rallies. That's when I lived in Mpls. Now Austin, Texas. Since I posted, the guy who used to own my 98 called and offered me a set of pipes that came with the Two Brothers Carbon Fibers of which one exploded. He went back to stock pipes then and that is the way the bike is now. I went over and picked them up and they look ok. I may have these powder coated black. Thanks for writing back. Divorce is just another hill to climb over so look to the top!

I had an offer for $100.00. is that reasonable? like I said there basically brand new.

That sounds reasonable to me but you night try looking in the forum classifieds to confirm this. Search for stock pipes and see what others are buying for and selling for.
