Model year colors

Well my 1983 interceptor is getting a little long in the tooth so I have been thinking about replacing it. I was waiting for Honda to come out with a new blackbird, fat chance. Would be more comfortable for longer rides, especially with 2 on board. So recently I decided that I don't really want to buy a new bike. For the price of a new one it seems possible to get a clean low mileage XX and a SuperHawk. So I have been thinking of picking up a used SuperHawk. My question for you guys is what colors were available in which years? I see a lot of red ones but I don't really care for red or yellow. I love the gray from I believe 2005 and the blue ones look really good.

Thanks
Walt

Yeah black with gold lettering. I own a red '98 but always liked the older black with red lettering-one year only- '99 I believe? And how about some foreign models? Had some other colors like silver and kind of a burnt orange they didn't sell here, though never seen one anywhere but pictures.

That color combo, black with red lettering does look nice... My personal favorite is the Tahitian Blue but the black/gold and Italian red are close seconds

So. 98 red, 03 blue, 04 black, 05 gray?
What about 99-02? And was there only one color per year?

I know '99 there were yellow ones as well as red I believe and someone had a red '02 so I think they mix it up a bit.

Mine is a red '02. When I looked into finding one, I found that the more recent years they only had one color per year. '02 was red, I think '01 was yellow, but I don't remember exactly. Anyway, I think the only '02 color in the US was red.

I have an '00 and an '01 The '01 is now flat black but it was R157 Italian Red from the factory. The '00 is Yellow. My one riding buddy started referring to it as the "pollenator" as it seems to attract lots of insects when it's sitting still. Or maybe my riding style and technique just stinks so much.....
