Not a Superhawk
Well guys, got myself a 2000 cbr600f4. Didn't get my dream bike, but it's a step closer. Custom paint job. Dark green with flakes of yellow when sun light hits.
Only problem I have is my seat feels like plywood. Other than that, awesome bike. Actually, two problems.. where the hell do I put framesliders on this bad boy?! Been told I have to drill my own holes but the question is... where and what sliders would work?

Welcome to the world of <female + sportbike = HOT> But I'm sure you knew that already. 8)
Here's some info:
Lockhart Phillips has a couple options...
ProImpact doesn't specify that their sliders require fairing mods. Part #464-2101 (black) or #464-2101W (white)
Vortex DOES specify that you'll need to modify your fairing to mount their sliders, but they come with a template to show you exactly where and how to drill/cut your plastic. Part #429-1000 (base) and #429-0001 through 429-0007 for different colored slider pucks.
Parts Unlimited also has some frame sliders for your bike (same parts, different part numbers), but I don't have a PU catalog in front of me. Head over to your local Honda Powersports dealer and their parts dept can hook you up. If you don't feel comfortable mounting them yourself, the service dept will charge you for .5 hour in labor to install them.
Hope this helps. Enjoy your HOT CHICK status!

Re: Not a Superhawk
Ah, that's gonna help tremendously. That's gonna be a b*tch to do. But might as well do it myself or have my mechanic buddy do it for the price of lunch.
I'll get some pictures up. I'm sure there's a riders bikes page and such. It's perty... makes me happy
