That should make riders think twice before they head out for a ride without a helmet and at least basic gear - you would hope anyway...

I'm a gearhead, literally and figuratively. Gear can make any rider ride over their head, which is of course a pun. Patience is maybe more important than skill and reflexes, and nothing makes up for experience. Experienced riders make a choice, to gear up or not. But what’s going on in your brain, protected or not, is what will kill you. If your number is up so to speak, gear can save you but not always. But a gearhead goes with the percentages, because it’s a science so to speak. Engineers are scientists and scientists are very often gearheads. Without engineers, there would be no bikes (or any other vehicle or machine) to ride or gear to wear. It’s pretty simple. But in the end, its choices that count and frustrating when an incident is analyzed and timing is referred to a chance. Does that make sense? In other words, being in the wrong place at the wrong time is a fallacy.

I think I'm going to throw up!

Anyone want to buy my SV650S or Hawk?
