Newbie intro/question

Hello all, I am a newbie here. This looks like a great forum. Just bought a '98 Super Hawk yesterday. Really cool bike and I like the v-twin rumble, although I only rode a little in the cold.
I am hoping for your opinions on something. Is there a trim piece or something that goes around the passenger part of the seat? I wonder if it is missing or the seat is not the right one. I tried posting a picture of the seat but it didn't seem to work. Here is a link to a pic on photobucket-
edit note.. Use [img]xxx[/img] tag next time

If you look at my other album, you can see pics of my old Super Magna. I like Super Honda bikes! Looking forward to learning about this new to me ride!

No trim piece, the gap is there so you can put a cover on top of the passenger section, making it a "single seat"... But yeah, the gap is pretty wide and not that pretty...

Welcome!

You can get the rear cowl cover that came with the bike from the factory, if you want to make the back of the bike look better. That is unless you carry a passenger often.

welcome,

that gap is supposed to be there, the cowl will take care of it , there is also hooks that fold out to aid in tying things down. also there is a fellow that makes a rack for the seat.

I was looking at a Katana 750, a ZR 7S and the SH, and the Honda was by far the most comfortable and best looking one of the 3. I really like the look of the bike.

Pay no attention to Randy. He tries to get everyone to eat those Aussie sandwiches.

Hey, nice avatar, nice looking gear. Where do you play? My wife and I are major hockey fans. Me since the early '70s, and my wife is a lifelong fan, since the '50s growing up in Canada when Boom Boom Geoffrion was her idol.

Go Ducks!

I think I better skip the Vegemite Sandwich. I seem to have texture issues with food, at least while sober. I have been playing hockey goalie for many years in a Senior league in Springfield IL. Tons of fun. I also do Tae Kwon Do, and someone on a past hockey team dubbed me "ninja goalie". I bleed Blue since I was born in St. Louis, but I was also happy to see the Hawks win last year. Seems like the Blackhawks would be a logical choice for the SuperHawk forum....
