Hello to everyone! I've been an owner of a yellow 2000 model Super Hawk for 2 weeks now and have learned a tremendous amount about these bikes from this forum in that time. This is a great forum! Thank you to the senior and all members for the hard earned knowledge that you share. The SH is my first "sportbike". I've owned motocross, cruisers, tourers and customs but never a sportbike. I also have a 2003 VTX 1800 that has been modified and I'm currently building a custom hardtail using a VTX1800 motor and a frame purchased from the now defunct Viking Motorcycles out of California. That's a little background on me. I do have some questions about "undertails". I would like to have a sportier look to the SH but do not want to sacrifice function. The undertail on my SH has been mutilated and needs to be replaced. What are some opinions on the aftermarket styles AND does anyone have a stock assembly available at a reasonable price? Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the Forum. I hope you get your undertail issue taken care of. Some just trim the stock rear fender about 5", like I did. But I guess it's a little too late for that on your bike.

In the mean time, enjoy the torque.
