a close friend of mine has a buell lightning and that bike is fun as hell, a little too small for me (i look kinda goofy on it) but nice torque and fun to throw around

Hahhaah... my first bike was a buell blast... I really liked it. I felt a bit goofy on it too seeing I KNEW it was a tiny bike. Damn being asian. I kinda miss being able to place both feet flat on the ground. It was a GREAT bike... damn reliable.

I live in Sylmar... I think I MAY have seen the bike at a salvage lot in El Monte, but they wanted BLOOD MONEY for it... I think they wanted 3,100 for it. On second thought... It can't be the same bike. The bike I'm writing about had a bent frame and was more wrecked than Britney Spears.

KG

Are you in L.A. alot? If you are we should go riding some time... but I'll be the first to admit... this bike scares the living **** out of me. I've been riding for 8 months and have traded up through 2 other bikes. First bike was a Buell blast, 2nd bike is a Kawi VUlcan 800 (which I LOVE) but can't keep up with my best friend on his Buell XB12X. I pretty much got the hawk to keep up with him, but seriously... the bike freaks me out. I think it'sjust a matter of time before I get used to how the bike moves around.

KG

BTW: the invite goes out to ALL L.A. O.C. and Ventura county riders in the area.
