Talking New SH

This is my first post and I just wanted to introduce myself. I've been following this forum since October in anticipation of getting my hawk. Everyone here seams very intelligent and friendly. Lots of great technical write ups. I bought the bike from my brother and have enjoyed taking it out many times and having a blast well before I bought it. He had gotten into some financial trouble and had to get rid of it... bad for him, GOOD for me!

Ok, enough of that... on to the fun stuff.
'99 SH, stage 3 jet kit, K&N air filter, two brothers stainless headers with slip-ons, full front end race tech suspension, race tech gold valve kit on the rear. Has ~16,800 on the OD. Picked her up for 3K.

Only one complaint so far... I have a hard time wiping the shti eating grin off my face.

Look forward to chatting with you guys in the future.

-Chuck

Nice bike with sensible mods. Resist the urge to make more and more mods like high compression pistons, ported heads and upside down forks. Resist! You don't need a full exhaust system and hotter cams. In fact, you should probably sell the bike now before the disease sets in. Run away from this motorcycle right now while you still have your money and your sanity!

Nice wheels. Just curious as to what a Stage 3 jet kit is?

That must have been a misprint. The fast color is red right?

yah I definitely like the black. Looks mean. As for the seat, it is a corbin not sure where he got it though. Maybe I misunderstood about the stage 3. Now that I look it up, I only see 1 & 2 kits. He must of ment stage 2...
