New with questions

I have been lurking in the background for awhile, the idea of a V-Twin sport bike intrigues me. Currently ride a BMW GTL 1600. Saw a 06 Intercepter for sale today, this is the same bike isn't it? Really liked it, going back to ride it tomorrow, pearl metallic white, all stock, 414 miles! Dealer wants 6K. Thoughts appreciated.

BeerHunter is an unknown quantity at this point
The VFR Interceptor has a V4 engine and is very much a different machine from the VTR SuperHawk which has a V2.

No not the same..
RC51 was marketed as a track bike with a license plate.

The VTR1000F Superhawk is a street bike, with some race inspired design... but made for the daily street use.

They share nothing but a like time in motorcycle history, both are V twins.
