New guy (Jake D) with Pics!
So I picked up my new Super Hawk from the dealer last night. I put about 175 miles on it. I really, really love it. I love the power and the suspension is better and more settled than the SV I traded in. It is a lot easier to brake and set up for corners on this bike. You guys were right. I love the Super Hawk. Here are some pics. My buddy with a YZF joined me at the dealer and we hit some twisties.

The first thing I'll upgrade is the suspension. See if I can get some .95kg/ springs. At the same time, I need better tires. It has Dunlop 204's on it. They are okay, but I will probably try some M-1's or Pilot Powers. Then I want to get a DB windscreen. I can't tuck behind the stock one very well.
I'd love exhaust, but I don't want to rejet for a while. Seems like a bike never really works the same after a rejet. But maybe you can change my mind.

True dat!
I can't stop thinking about my bike. It is hard to work. It is so much fun to ride. And when I'm not on it, I miss it.
The bad thing is, I'm leaving town all weekend and won't get to ride again until Sunday night. It is a "guys weekend" at the Lake of the Ozarks, in central Missouri. Me and my friends, no girlfriends nagging at us. Just poker and beer and smokes and boating and dominos and topless chicks at the Party Cove. Great time, right? Actually, I'd rather stay home and ride!
