new bike tomorrow morning!

sold the superhawk 2 weeks ago I guess it was and I'm getting something new tomorrow morning. I luckily am getting a quick turn around this time unlike last time which took my 2 months to find the superhawk. I'm gonna post pics tomorrow afternoon. Now... guess what I'm getting. Marmaladeboy - hush cause you know

I was waiting until the other guy selling his Sharkskinz finally sold 'em to post. Don't want to put up two similar ads at the same time, y'know? Thanks for the plug.

My guess is a Triumph! Greg even admits a look-see before he decided to rebuild his white one. I looked at them seriously when I thought the Superhawk was finished.

Oh, that's true Marm! I forgot about those - very nice bikes too! I just don't know that much about them. Very good rep tho!

Nah. They're both from Italy. That'd be like calling a Victory a "Harley Hunter" LOL

the superhawk is definitely more comfy but man I couldn't care less with how smooth it runs in comparison. And that was after I had my superhawk professionally tuned. It's just the nature of Carbs vs FI.

haha. who knows. maybe I'll be a first. lol I got a lil work to do on this. cleaning up of things, buying a few small washers that are missing, maybe replacing the stupid hotbodies undertail (LED's are impossibly to see during the day) and a few odds and ends like getting the pc3 to work (doesn't appear to be right now though it hadn't been connected when I got it, I connected the ground but the other connections might be undone as well too)

Funny thing: After I read this post Friday I was in my buddy's Ducati dealership Saturday and saw they'd taken in an '04 Hayden RC that looks, maybe not so remarkably, exactly like yours. Okay, maybe not funny. Just ironic.

thanks guys, the blinkers are probably gonna go, the undertail might have to be switched to mototeck or something. I have a list of other stuff but it's too long

im currently working on the power commander. it appears to be having issues. I'm unplug it again like it was when I got it until I can get it serviced. It's not a big deal since he never included it in the mod list with the bike. It just came with it and was like woah, cool extra goodies.

I just got my scotts damper. I might have that rebuilt before I throw it on since it was used. Might as well so it's as good as new. Signals will be done soon and it'd sure be nice to figure out the wiring for the undertail. It's a hotbodies with integrated and it looks confusing as hell. I'm not sure I could get it off if I tried

Congrats with the new RC! I don't care what they say about comfort - I want one! I always wondered if smaller guys fit the bike better. All the bigger guys bitch but I'm not 6'2". It's not like you can rent one and the dealership that I go to never has one - new or used. I think most of the people that have them like them and keep them because there's not that many ever in circulation. If the insurance co would have offered me an all cash deal I would have had the opportunity to find out.
