need help asap on carb removal...

ok. doing the clunk and die fix and got to the part where it says to loosen the screw for the top boot... DONE Then it says to lightly grasp them and pull them off of their boots. yeah well that ain't working. is it really that simple or am I missing something cause they won't come off....

Make sure the clamps are really, really loose and gently pry the rubber open and squirt some wd-40 or some such for additional lubrication. They are really sealed tight and all the heat kind of bonds them even tighter.

Or loosen the lower clamps and see if the boots will come off easier from the manifolds.

yay! just got them. rocking them back and forth worked... ok now what on earth do I do with all of these throttle cables and what not... there's really no mention about that....

ok someone's gonna kill me for asking but I'm trying to get rid of my 3k stumble too while I'm in here... HOW do I raise my needle. like a good description. Cause I've had people tell me but me = ?????
