he'll just have to put some flat slide carbs in there in that case

Have you some parameters for the design you have used, or is it just the shape that suited?

I will have to design my own airbox at some stage when I convert it to EFI, but I have not done any research on the subject as yet.
Its basically trial and error. Im trying to keep alot of airbox volume though.

Hopefully the engine will respond well to the velocity stacks I build.

Normally I would LOVE FCR's. But since my entire fuel tank is built around my carbs, Id have to rebuild everything.

oh and a grand for 2 carbs isnt too friendly either

well I worked on CCT's and fork braces today. Ok didnt work on braces but bought stock and took it to the shop to have it cut.

It was so boring and repetitious I had to do something for the bike. Built a mount for my coils and built 2 throttle cable brackets.

oh man oh man it took me forever but i just got caught up on this build. sooooo worth the effort man this bike is sick, i was hoping to do something similar with my exhaust when i fighter my hawk. i love the pipes, the pegs and the idea of doing a carbon fiber fighter. what did you have in mind for the belly pan?

Just a thought, you could make a drain on the airbox on the sidestand side in case a leak form, this will tell you something is wrong before you hydro lock your engine, if it ever happens.

Thats a good idea. Im using 3003 grade aluminum so Its got alot of flex in it before it cracks.

What no other opinions?

I'm trying to figure out how the top of the tank will provide adequate access for intake. I'm sure you've got a plan .... can't wait to see it.

you are going to need to be careful not to get sucked in when tucked in .

Air flowing through a custom hollow area of the tank with a ram air intake scoop on top of, or in front of, the tank somehow?

Kinda like this, without the butterflies. Not going for ram air because of all the problems associated. But alot of cool fresh air cant help

Anyone heard anything about our master builder? I think I speak for most of us when i say that I'm a little worried. I hope everything's going ok for him. Those of us with religion, lets keep him in our prayers. Those of us without, lets at least keep him in good thoughts....

Truck last posted on customfighters on the fourteenth, and it says he logged in there today. Of course he's probably permanently logged in there.

For your pic fix here's a pic of his Duc.
