lightened the already light rear caliper, removed casting marks, stuff like that. Ready for paint



made a resi hookup since I kinda melted mine







polished the exhaust tip, not sure if I like it

rear brembo done



putting my 530 sprocket on a diet



it was a **** ton of work, but it now fits a 520 chain perfectly

I love the exhaust. Nice way to combine all the ideas that ppl threw at ya. I've never even heard of someone turning a 530 sprocket down to a 520 before! Your mind definately goes places no one else's does. That is why this build is so interesting. Can't wait for the next update.

That pink panther **** will blow out in the first 100 miles. Get rid of it. Wrap stainless steel wool around the perforated core and then follow up with some dedicated exhaust wrap. I think Two Brothers sells a kit for like $25.

Also, please make a little offset tab for the rear res nipple retainer. The screw/washer combo doesn't work for me. It's the little details that matter. Should take you 10 minutes with your skillz.

Nice job so far. I'm diggin' it all!

{EDIT} Okay, so not enough room for both SS wool and exhaust wrap, so just go with the SS wool.

Ya I plan on getting some steel wool, I just kinda wanna hear it with some packing and I dont mind it it all gets blown out.

Oh and dont worry the rear res retainer is not done yet. I just moved to other parts of the bike before finishing it.

lightened my rear rotor and one front rotor, the other front rotor has a stripped bolt I have to drill out. I can feel the weight difference.



also got another radiator, and a fork brace mockup

lightened rear rotor with light twin piston brembo caliper







as good as new, possibly better with stainless bolts and double H pads, now I need some clean mounting bolts.

I did this last night. Its mu baseplate that the gastank will mate to in order to seal my airbox.

Getting everything to line up perfect was rather tricky, but ive got tricks.

I assume if you end up needing the extra rad it will get painted.. Probably won't need it though. This bike likes to run at around 215 degrees F.

So do you have an "English wheel" or the like for shaping your tank?

Not sure if ill need it or not. But I got it just in case.

Ive got an english wheel, pnumatic planishing hammer, roller, and some other tools.
Only problem is all the tools are at a friends house, 20 miles away, and I have no way to get there

I have to finish the bike by the 25th of next month
