I had a throttle lock but would've also enjoyed a tank bag to rest on. On smooth roads I would lay my chest down on the tank and put my feet on the rear pegs too. I tried putting my legs up front over the frame sliders but it digs into your calves after awhile. Then I tried stretching my feet out and resting the top of my feet on the rear pegs. You can also extend your arms straight out and rest your hands on the front fairing and steer with your arms. After 10 hours I tried doing some one handed butt massages.

None of it is more comfortable than the normal riding position, but you still have to move around to keep the blood flowing.

from Burlington Ont. to Ripley West Virginia ... yes on my VTR with a stock seat
it was gruelling ... but a total blast specially sharing the ride with 6 others.

San Diego to Portland Maine 4 days 3000+ miles. Yea my *** was really sore. No throttle lock just a tank bag that I would lay on. This was on my old CBR 600F2, riding the hawk feels a lot like it.
