Moriwaki?
I found a used Moriwaki belly pan on ebay. Why is anything Moriwaki so expensive? Is it just the name, or is there something about Moriwaki products that i'm not understanding?

Moriwaki built a lot of high performance vtr components. The fact that it comes from Japan adds a little to the price as well. As far as that carbon belly pan, that guy is dreaming.

You saw that? I think it was about $350, and it had been hacked up to fit an Akro system. Seemed a bit high, I just couldn't figure out why.

everyone on here has seen it at some point, the guy keeps relisting it. He has an ebay store so it's up for a month at a time.
